I would lie to introduce myself to the readers of WOW Magazine. Ky name is Kymber Ree’ne Irvin and I am a woman of the word from the bottom of my soul and with all my heart. And I am overjoyed to have been invited to share my learned beauty and skincare knowledge that I have acquired over the years. I was introduced to the wonderful world of cosmetics as a young dance major at the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts and through using heavy stage make up, I realized that it can also be damaging as well as flattering to your skin. Therefore I am excited to share with you things that I have learned.
The summer has quickly arrived and the changes in weather can present a harsh beating on one’s delicate outer layer which we call skin. No matter what your skin type everyone needs to moisturerize and use a sun block with an SPF of 15 or higher (actually the more sensitive your skin is the higher the SPF number should be). There are several types of tinted lotions and moisturizers that take on the double duty role of providing moisture to the skin as well as giving color. This will give you the protection from the sun that your skin needs and provide a hint of an all over glow and color.
Another thing that must also be done as a daily routine, especially for summer, is to cleanse your face as much as possible during the day. The heat and humidity causes perspiration and will result in airborne dirt and debris to clog your pores, which can result in break-outs such as, pimples, blackheads and worse case - major dermatological infections.
After the harshness of an entire day on your skin, one should create a nightly routine to remove perspiration, dirt and debris and most definitely use a nighttime moisturizer that will maintain and restore hydration to you that has been lost throughout the day. The perspiration that has taken place all day has actually dehydrated your skin and it needs to be replenished.
Daily skincare regimens are absolutely important to looking and feeling your best with or without make up. Always put your best face forward and take care of your body, take care of mind, and take care of your skin.
